About us

Anima Media was established in 2011 by Oldimar Cardoso, who before that worked

for twelve years at the Brazilian schoolbook market and as a researcher and lecturer at many European universities.

Author of textbooks to Primary School, Middle School and High School, he also worked as ghostwriter and contributor to more than twenty schoolbooks. As lecturer of the Chair of History Didactics, University of Augsburg, Germany, he taught educational

media production.

He is the only Brazilian fellow of the Georg-Eckert-Institut for International Schoolbook Research.

Anima Media brings together dozens of experts on the teaching of school subjects and dozens of producers, allowing us to create a material with both technical and pedagogical quality.
